Inaugural Ural Sidecar Rally
Europe and USA have long held very successful annual rally events for their many Ural sidecar owners. These unique events attract hundreds of Ural sidecars and the navigation rides are a hoot.
On October 2nd, we will host from Ural Australia, the inaugural Ural Sidecar Rally. For fellowship and information sharing, it will be a great opportunity, but the real fun starts when we get out on the navigation rally.
It will be set on a variety of road surfaces and with a bit of challenge to add to the great New England scenic roads we will use. The lunchtime stop will be a highlight, taken at the Russian Motorcycle Owners annual event, also on that weekend at a quaint mining village in the mountains. "The Huts" will provide on-farm accommodation for the two nights either side and is almost booked out already. We have Urals riding in for the rally from as far away as Townsville and Adelaide. Bring your partners and join this fun event.
What's News
The latest shipment of Ural motorcycles has arrived and it includes the Limited Edition "Red October". The release of this model has unfortunately been delayed due to some parts not arriving till early September. More details soon.
Also arriving about the same time, is our first shipment of Heidenau nobby tyres!
Urals in Sydney
We are pleased to announce that Trooper Lu's Garage at Moorebank in Sydney has joined us as a Ural Service Agent for sales and servicing. Justin and Simone Chisholm have recently opened a new, well-equipped, specialist motorcycle service centre and will be holding a Grand Opening Promotional Day on September 4th from 11am-4pm. Ural Marathon Ride
Ural Japan is conducting a Ural Marathon Ride from Townsville on 26th October to Bendigo on 9th November - more details soon.
Ural of Oz sidecar adventure training and tours offer special opportunities for enthusiasts to become familiar with Ural sidecars and to experience sidecar travel in the picturesque New England ranges of New South Wales.
